Yue officially signsMonday 8/25, 10:36 PM CT
Sun Yue, the Lakers second-round draft pick in the 2007 draft, has, as expected, signed a two-year deal with the team, according to the AP. The terms were not available.

Our View: Yue is 6-foot-9, and plays guard. He will likely be a backup in his first foray into NBA basketball.
Strawberry shipped to HoustonMonday 8/25, 5:04 PM CT
D.J. Strawberry was traded from Phoenix to the Houston Rockets on Monday in exchange for Sean Singletary, according to the East Valley Tribune.

Our View: Strawberry put in only 2.2 points per game a season ago, and he has no fantasy value no matter where he plays right now.
Singletary tradedMonday 8/25, 5:02 PM CT
Rookie point guard Sean Singletary was traded from the Houston Rockets to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for D.J. Strawberry, according to the East Valley Tribune.

Our View: Maybe Singletary can find a place to live now, because he has been traded an average of once a month since becoming an NBA player. He was drafted by Sacramento, traded to Houston, and finally swapped to Phoenix.
Randolph on Grizzlies' radar? Monday 8/25, 12:28 PM CT
The Grizzlies are said to be talking to the Knicks about acquiring power forward Zach Randolph, according to the Memphis Edge.

Our View: Memphis is reportedly willing to part with Darko Milicic in a deal. Randolph would provide a solid presence under the post offensively for Memphis and the team also likes his perimeter shooting, but he offers little on defense and has character issues.
Ming limping due to blisters Monday 8/25, 10:10 AM CT
Yao Ming said he was limping throughout the Olympics due to blisters, not due to the foot injury (stress fracture) that ended his season with the Rockets, according to the Houston Chronicle. He said, "Did I get everyone in Houston worried with the limp? The bone in the foot is fine. I just had some blisters."

Our View: He left the Olympics without a medal, but looks to be fine for training camp with Houston.
