Glen Murray has cleared waivers, according to the AP.
Our View: Murray went unclaimed one day after being placed on waivers, leaving the Bruins 48 hours in which to buy out the remaining year on his contract. The 35-year-old winger is slated to make $4.15 million next season, but Boston would save $2.9 million against the salary cap by buying out his contract.

Mathieu Darche has left the Lightning as he signed a deal with the Sabres, according to the AP. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Our View: Darche contributed seven goals and 15 assists over 73 games with Tampa Bay last season. The 31-year-old winger is not expected to be fantasy worthy with his new club. |
