O'Hair still listed in the field for the AT&T NationalTuesday 7/1, 6:26 PM CT
It is close of business hours at the Tour offices and Sean O'Hair remains a member of the listed field for this week's AT&T National.

Our View: O'Hair pulled a pectorial muscle at the US Open and has not been seen or heard from since. It is a rather serious injury and we anticipated it would take diligent rest and rehab to get in shape for the Open Championship. O'Hair committed to attend this tourney some time ago and we warned that he would be likely to withdraw in the Owner's Edge Weekly Rankings, but thus far he has yet to do so. If he is a member of the field, we will be excited to see how he performs, for O'Hair is one of a short list of top young Americans starting to form the future of the Tour.
Baddeley withdraws from AT&T NationalTuesday 7/1, 6:22 PM CT
Aaron Baddeley has officially withdrawn from this week's AT&T National.

Our View: This is a major disappointment for fantasy owners who have seen Baddeley's turns at taking on the field in the PGA all but die since the majors hit the schedule. He has not played in a single tourney since the US Open, instead making starts in Europe. He listed no reason for withdrawal and we have no reason to believe he is injured, but the hot young Aussie was playing so well in the early part of the season and now seems unwilling to make the ride over the pond to let us enjoy his game. He will be replaced in the field by Lee Janzen, and we will update with news if any comes forth.
Goydos qualifies for Open ChampionshipTuesday 7/1, 6:21 PM CT
Paul Goydos topped the field, finishing as the medalist at sectional qualifying in Dearborn Park, Michigan to earn a spot in this year's Open Championship.

Our View: Goydos defeated Michael Letzig by two strokes with Doug LaBelle II finishing in third, all earning spots in the third major of the year. Davis Love III, Rich Beem, Craig Barlow, and Kevin Stadler also earned spots via playoff.
Chopra withdraws from AT&T NationalTuesday 7/1, 6:20 PM CT
Daniel Chopra has officially withdrawn from this week's AT&T National.

Our View: Chopra has struggled to carry consistent scores through individual tourneys. Last week, he was on pace to challenge for the title at the Buick Open but choked in horrific fashion on Sunday to fall well out of the race. He may need a mental break, for it has been some time since he was able to end a weekend of competition on a positive note. He will be replaced in the field by Justin Bolli.
Calcavecchia to return at John DeereTuesday 7/1, 6:19 PM CT
In his efforts to recover from a knee injury, we hear Mark Calcavecchia is marking the John Deere Classic, next week's Tour stop, as his likely point of return.

Our View: Calc suffered the undisclosed knee injury during the US Open and was forced to withdraw. Reports indicate he will be playing with new inserts in his shoes to help alleviate pain and discomfort.
Na withdraws from AT&T NationalTuesday 7/1, 6:19 PM CT
Kevin Na has officially withdrawn from this week's AT&T National.

Our View: Na has complained of chest pains over recent weeks, discomfort that grew so strong that he was forced to withdraw from the Buick Open last week. It appears there may be more to this story and we will update if/when news becomes available. He will be replaced in the field by Gavin Coles.
Wetterich continues to struggle for healthTuesday 7/1, 6:18 PM CT
Brett Wetterich has officially withdrawn from this week's AT&T National.

Our View: No big surprise here as Wetterich has withdrawn from the vast majority of tourneys that he filed early commitments to as he continues to recovery from surgery to repair a torn labrum as well as a wrist injury suffered at the US Open. He will be replaced in the field by Brad Adamonis.
Baird withdraws from AT&T NationalTuesday 7/1, 6:17 PM CT
Briny Baird has officially withdrawn from this week's AT&T National.

Our View: Baird has enjoyed a successful season and touts several finishes that rank among the best of his career to date, thus his decision to pull out is a bit surprising. He has kept a rather full schedule, so a break may be in order. He is replaced in the field by Marco Dawson.
J-Singh, Clarke fail to qualify for the BritishTuesday 7/1, 6:16 PM CT
Among the list of competitors at this week's sectional qualifying tourney for the Open Championship were Jeev Singh and Darren Clarke, though both finished below the cut line and have failed to gain entry into the third major of the season.

Our View: Singh finished two strokes short of making the playoff to determine the 18 qualifiers while Clarke, struggling through difficult times, missed by eight strokes. Other notable names that failed to qualify include Mark Brown, Alejandro Canizares, Thomas Bjorn, Jose Maria Olazabal, and Peter Lawrie.
DiMarco withdrawsTuesday 7/1, 6:15 PM CT
Chris DiMarco has officially withdrawn from this week's AT&T National.

Our View: DiMarco appears to be on an upswing, posting two top-15 finishes in his last five starts. He has listed no reason for withdrawal and will be replaced in the field by Patrick Sheehan.
